TEI is well-served by Metro’s red line. From Preston Station, walk north to Congress, then west 1-1/2 blocks. 801 Congress will be on your right.
More than two dozen METRO bus routes stop within three blocks of TEI, including Park & Ride service along most freeways and frequent local or express service in the Westheimer, Washington, Antoine, Hardy/Elysian, East Freeway, and Katy Freeway corridors. For real-time route options, please use the Google map above to get directions and select “Transit”. For bus maps and schedules, visit Metro’s website.
Houston Bcycle operates a public bike share station just across the street in Market Square, and TEI is 3 blocks from the Buffalo Bayou Bike Trail access at Sesquicentennial Park. If you ride your personal bike, feel free to bring it up and park in our commons. Guests are invited to take advantage of our private changing room.
Downtown Houston enjoys the region’s most-connected street grid, with direct connectors to/from IH-10, IH-45, IH-69, Allen Parkway, and Memorial Drive. If you drive to 801 Congress, paid parking is ample nearby, both on-street and in private lots.
